ADVOCATE
The development of States and societies has allowed the emergence of animal laws which are the combination of statutory and case law that relates to or has an impact on nonhuman animals. It encompasses companion animals, wildlife, animals used in the food industry, entertainment or research.
For instance, animal cruelty laws began emerging in France as from 1850, when in Morocco, animals are still exclusively viewed as property, and therefore lack any legal protection as such.
This is why it’s critically important to advocate for essential animal protection laws with lawmakers and all government bodies.
With the help of our community acting as whistle-blowers, we constantly try to reach to the authorities' help to build a legally strong and ethical handling of animal cruelty situations.
At ADAN, we undertake to ADVOCATE for animal laws.
